Difficult question… why we have started this website, who are we, why another blog, what is in it for you and why should you even bother.
True, you should not.
So, let me start with who we are, its always ‘we’ because, its two of us, a regular couple with a day job, 14 years of corporate experience, but not satisfied as usual, but can’t leave it because of the number of obligations. We both are engineer and MBA from reputed institutes, a typical corporate profile, always looking for new jobs and… sounds familiar, yes, we know most of you can relate to this, if you don’t, then don’t worry you will… eventually.
So what, ok...we realized over the years of togetherness and fighting this day to day monotonous life, we felt some things make us happy, apart from hikes.. good hikes. We are not telling you about leaving the job to do what you love… you know that. This blog is to let you know about some little things, tweaks , tips, good books that you can adopt in your day to day life, that will make you happy somehow.
Over the years, we have realized what are some of the moments that make us happy – obviously, not comprehensive but to start with:
- The day we get our salary, and saving that little amount in our day to day work – a good deal, a wonderful discount, the best credit card option, a great book, a quote, and so on
- Good food – what is better than preparing a delicious meal, share and savor it.
- A perfect vacation – well planned, relaxing, comfortable and in budget
- Smiles – a good joke, a meme, a conversation, that just bring up a smile, whatever we are doing, how tensed we are.. we just love them
The focus will be on the things that make most of regular people happy. No gyan here for sure.
So to start with we are sticking to these four categories and will share tips, tweaks, tricks, recipes with you that are easy and help you lead a happier life.. a better life.. and by extension.. a Greater Life.
